Our Statement of Faith

We believe the King James Bible is verbally inspired and without error.  We reject all other translations and paraphrases and subscribe to and use only the KJV (1611) in all of our activities.  Other versions may only be used in a context to expose their inadequacies.

We believe the Bible is the Word of God and the Christian’s final authority in matters of faith and conduct. II Tim 3:16

We believe that Jesus was born of Mary, the Virgin, and is the Son of God and God the Son.  Luke 1:35

We believe the Genesis account of Creation and reject the evolution theory.  Gen 1:1,

 John 1: 1 - 3

We believe in a literal, everlasting, and conscious Heaven and Hell.  John 14: 1 - 3,

We believe that Christ died for our sins according to the Scripture, the Just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God.  1 Cor 15:3, 1 Pet 3:16

We believe that Christ arose bodily from the grave the third day according to the Scriptures.  1 Cor 15: 3 -4

We believe that He only is the great High Priest, and we do not need the intercession of any man, but that Christ ever liveth to make intercession for us.  Heb 7:25

We believe that Christ will come again in Person, bodily, visibly, to establish His kingdom on earth.  Rev 19: 11 - 16, 20:6, 21:22.

We believe that in order to be eternally saved, the soul must be born again “.. Ye must be born again.”  John 3: 3-5, 7.

We believe that every truly born-again soul should declare his faith by the act of baptism (immersion by water), setting forth the Lord’s death, burial, and resurrection.  Acts 2:41.

We believe that every truly born-again, baptized person should be committed to a local fundamental New Testament Church by membership. 1 Cor 1: 1 - 2.

We believe that tongues, healing, and other “charismatic” gifts of the Holy Spirit were apostolic sign gifts and are not in operation today.  1 Cor 13: 8, 11.
